Happy Independence Day! Blue Reapers MC celebrated our nation's independence on two wheels, as usual. We'd like to thank the town of Burlington, MA and Patriot Riders MA Chapter IV for their hospitality. We were honored to be asked to ride in their 4th of July parade. It was certainly a scorcher, but a great time was had by all. We'd love to do it again next year!
Since it was a long holiday weekend for some of us, it was far past time to put some serious miles on. On Saturday one of us completed the New England 1000. 1020 miles in 18 hours. Now THAT'S a Saturday ride. RT 2 from Bangor, ME to Burlington, VT is a beautiful ride. If you get a chance to head that way, do it. What's next on the long agenda? 1500 miles in 24 hours for the extreme version.
As usual, our Friday Night Rides are in full swing. We've had some great rides up the coast, and a few inland. We're always looking for new routes. If you have one, share it with us. Better yet, join us Friday night for our weekly ride. Use the contact form to get our meeting location and ride times for the coming week.
See you on the road.
