Blue Reapers MC had a busy week, fortunately it was all on two wheels. After a few pick-up rides within the club throughout the week, we started our weekend with a great Friday Night Ride. Turn-out was good and traffic was light. We conducted most of the ride without putting our feet down. We found a great sports bar on the north shore to eat at, and we'll absolutely be visiting it again soon. Very biker friendly and the food was good. Loved the deck, but only a few of us chose to brave the bugs.
Saturday we had the honor of participating in the charity run for MBTA Officer "Dic" Donohue, who was injured in the aftermath of the Marathon bombing. Turnout was impressive, considering there were several other major rides taking place that day, all of which were planned further in advance and people had committed to. Great music, good food, and a strong WAAF presence. The police escorts did an incredible job, and it appeared to go off without a hitch. We're relaxing with our respective families today, hopefully with a pick-up ride after dinner. For those that we saw on two wheels, many thanks and much respect. For everyone else, we hope you can join us next time.
